The Fortier 33'
The Fortier 33'
The Fortier 33′
The construction of the Fortier 33 is unique to the industry in that experienced craftsmen have laid layers of fiberglass over a Core-Cell® foam core. The result is a very quiet ride, while insulating her against the contrasting cold water and warm air temperatures. The stringers run from bulkhead to transom. The quality of materials and workmanship make the Fortier 33 the stiffest hull in her class.
The Fortier 33 has quickly become the most striking boat on the water today. The redesigned, opening port windows adds a classic Down East flair, providing the Fortier 33 with standout beauty.
The Fortier 33 lends itself to customizing. Although generally used for cruising, it is often equipped to provide the ultimate fishing experience. The Fortier 33 is often imitated, but as with all Fortier boats, maintains an incredible loyal following.
A Look Inside
The engine room holds standard twin inboard Volvo Diesels that economically produce a cruising speed of 23+ knots and top speed of approximately 29 knots. The engine room is accessible by a large hatch that lifts hydraulically. For daily service, a small center hatch is manually removable to make routine tasks a breeze to complete. The real excitement comes with the optional Volvo Inboard Propulsion System (IPS). This system boasts greater economy, speed (up to 32 knots), improved maneuverability (including joy stick docking) and unparalleled quickness.
